Cambodia is quickly improving politically and economically, this leads to an influx of tourists.

The majority of tourists are attracted to the historical/cultural site of Angkor Wat, beaches in the southern town of Sihanoukville, the banks of the mighty Mekong, the Cardamom Mountains, southern tropical islands or crater lakes of the remote northeast. Adding urban adventure, the city has taken its place among the hip capitals of the region, with an alluring cafe culture, bars and a world-class food scene.

From the first week in Cambodia, we decided to include three must-see tours in order for them to learn about Cambodian culture, tradition, and way of life before beginning their internship program.
All tours are accompanied by one of our knowledgeable tour guides and local guides that will be on hand to help them explain and answer all questions they might have about Cambodians.
This is crucial for all interns to learn and become acquainted with the country in which they will be interning.

Since the 1990s, Angkor Wat has become a major tourist destination.
Cambodia is the successor state to the mighty Khmer empire, which ruled much of what is now Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. The remains of this empire can be seen at the Angkor Wat (city of temple). The ultimate expression of Khmer genius, is sublime and is matched by only a few select spots on earth, such as Machu Picchu or Petra.

Day 8

Phnom Penh

The capital, Phnom Penh, is a revitalized city with alluring cafe culture, bars, a world-class food scene and a diverse nightlife.
The City formerly functioned as a processing centre, with textiles, pharmaceuticals, machine manufacturing, and rice milling. However, the city is now known for its culture and learning Institutions including the National University of Phnom Penh (founded in 1956 as the Royal Khmer University).

Day 9

Beaches in the town of Sihanoukville

Sihanoukville is a coastal city in Cambodia and the capital of Preah Sihanouk Province. The city is dominated by white–sand beaches and castaway-cool southern islands.
The city attracts a sizable portion of travelers, students, and backpackers, gregariously gathering to rest up between travels and party through the night.

Day 10

Cardamom Mountains

Cardamom Mountains: It's all about nature.
This tropical rainforest remains one of Southeast Asia’s most pristine and vast expanses of wilderness.
Most of the dense forest remains off limits to tourists/humans but there are plenty of pockets to explore that showcase the rugged landscape/mountains, plains and gushing rivers. It's the perfect place for the vast collection of rare and endangered species.
